Midnite Comics, the on-line multi-title comics studio, today announced the launch of its latest live title "Perfect Storm," the first of an on-going series covering the adventures of freelance super-spy, Erin Storm.

"Perfect Storm" is the creation of US artist Rob Jones, assistant to legendary comic book artist, Dick Giordano. Ms Storm's first adventure for Midnite Comics will take her from Milan to Las Vegas via Miami, its tongue-in-cheek humour and stylishly retro artwork affectionately recalling classic Sunday newspaper serials.

The title has been scripted by David A J Berner based on an original idea by Jones who, together with colourist Andrew Hurst, has produced the artwork - praised by Giordano as "cool, stylish [and] actually gets even better as the story progresses!"

Co-Founders of Midnite Comics, Oscar Cavazos and Jud Cooper, said: "Erin is a great character and we're delighted she's joining the cast of characters here at Midnite Comics. As a strong, independent woman for the 21st Century, we hope she'll soon have a legion of female admirers, lining up alongside the traditional fanboys!"

The opening pages of the first part of "Perfect Storm" can be previewed now at www.midnitecomics.com. Subscription to Midnite Comics is currently free and grants access to other areas of the site, including all regular updates to live titles and special features such as creators' commentaries.
